Kelvo is a free reference tool. It shows published figures from U.S. government sources — wages, job openings, typical education, program costs — side by side so you can compare careers and schools yourself. Kelvo does not rank careers or schools, does not recommend one over another, and does not give personal advice of any kind.
Nothing on this site is career, educational, financial or legal advice, and nothing here is a prediction about you. A median wage is what half of the people in an occupation earned more than and half earned less than, in the year the government measured it. It is not a promise about what you will earn, whether you will be hired, or whether a career or school is right for you. Decisions about your education and work are yours, and you should make them with people who know your situation.
Every figure on Kelvo is taken from a named government publication and labelled with its source and date. We work hard to reproduce those figures accurately and to say plainly when a figure is missing, estimated or old. Even so, the data is provided as-is: government sources are revised, occupations are grouped in ways that may not match a specific job, and errors are possible. If you find one, tell us at [email protected] and we will check it against the source and fix it.
Kelvo is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Fieldstone Data LLC and the people who work on Kelvo are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its data, including decisions about education, training, employment or money. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places these terms apply as far as the law permits.
If you request a report, we will send it to the email address you give us. Reports are free, are built from the same public data as the site, and carry the same limits described above. How we handle what you give us is described in the Privacy Policy.
Links to government sources, schools and other sites are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
